One Plus 8 Vs One Plus 8 Pro - What's the difference ? Which should you buy ?

OnePlus phones known for their performance. From the beginning OnePlus focus to make phones which are known as flagship killer which means they provide everything that a flagship has but with an aggressive price. But last year OnePlus launched its flagship phones OnePlus 7 Pro and OnePlus 7t Pro with good price compare to other flagship phones. This year OnePlus launch OnePlus 8 Pro with the highest price tag on their history which is $899. They also launch OnePlus 8 which is known as a premium mid-range phone. Because now they are not known for flagship killer for their price tag. Now they are known for a premium phone manufacturer. Today we are going to discuss about their latest released phones OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro.

OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro both have AMOLED display. OnePlus 8 have 6.55 inches FHD+ display with 1080 x 2400 pixels resolutions and OnePlus 8 Pro has 6.78 inches QHD+ display with 1440 x 3168 pixels resolutions. But OnePlus 8’s display has 90Hz refresh rate, on the other hand OnePlus 8 Pro’s display has 120Hz refresh rate with 240Hz touch-sensing which is smoother and fluid than OnePlus 8’s display. OnePlus claims that OnePlus 8 Pro’s display is the best mobile phone display in the world. Even OnePlus 8 phones get A+ score from Display Mate and 8 Pro broke 13 records.

Both OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro have Qualcomm’s latest flagship chipset Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 (7 nm+) with Adreno 650 GPU.

Though OnePlus never compromise on their phone’s performance but they are slightly compromising their phone’s camera. With OnePlus 8 Pro they have changed the game. OnePlus 8 Pro have quad-camera setup which is 48MP f/1.7 IMX689 (customized sensor) main camera + 8MP f/2.2 3x telephoto camera + 48MP f/2.2 IMX586 ultrawide camera + color filter camera. But they still slightly compromised on OnePlus 8. It has a triple camera setup which is 48MP f/1.8 IMX586 main camera + 16MP f/2.2 ultrawide camera + 2MP f/2.4 macro camera. For selfie camera OnePlus 8 has 16MP f/2.0 camera and OnePlus 8 Pro has 16MP f/2.5 camera.

OnePlus 8 Pro cost at $899 for the base variant. At this price point OnePlus 8 Pro is very good to deal with. Because it has the best display compare to any phones, good quality camera, performance beast, IP68 rating, wireless charging. It gives everything that everyone accepts from a flagship phone. On the other hand, OnePlus 8 cost at $699 which is slightly overpriced. If OnePlus 8 provide wireless charging or IP67 rating than it worthy at this price.
